The baby was born on 29 March 1985 at Roswell in New Mexico. Her birth name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is American and is of Mexican American heritage. Since she was a child she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina began playing golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her high school education. In high school, she won the New Mexico golf state tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the level of state. Her first college was the University of Texas. As a senior, she was a winner in every tournament she played in. Through her college professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female athlete of the Year.
